Let's get this out of the way straight off; late last night left Coast entertainment conglomerate Bedlam West claimed to have acquired the rights to The Deadite . According to the press release this includes all characters, likeness, and contracts. Our crack legal team is working to sort this out right now and despite some heated exchanges between Bedlam CEO Barry Dennis and our excitable front man, we've found nothing to prove that these outlandish claims are true or even possible. We promise to keep you appraised of any updates but we assure you that The Deadites,you know and love are intact and will remain so forever. After lengthy (mostly) secret negotiations, Bedlam Productions West is pleased to announce that we have acquired LIMITED rights for "The Deadites" from Bruce Campbell and Sam Raimi. This includes but is not limited to www.thedeadites.com as well as all past, present or future names, characters, likenesses and music created by the band know as "The Deadites".
My partner, Roger Slifer (Co-Creator of DC's Lobo, Writer/Producer for Jem, YU-GI-OH and GI JOE) and I have a number of exciting ideas for the characters and there are already interested parties that are willing to help us bring them to fruition.
The Deadites stage show as well as the musical direction will be changing dramatically to keep with the new direction of the more "kid friendly" marketable band. I will be flying back to meet with the band in late October to discuss and enforce the changes but rest assured the Halloween show will be taking place Saturday night Oct30th as planned.
Many of the characters that you know and love will still be involved with the new project on some level, Andy Christ, Vigilante, Donna Matrix as well as Oracle will all continue to be a part of "The Deadites" universe. The most exciting news is that people attending the Halloween show October 30th will be witness to the first appearance of Kid Dynamo, a Zombie hunter with a heart of gold. Because of his belief that there is good in every creature, living or dead he was given the formula for a magic dust that when combined with his angelic voice, can turn a Zombie back to a normal human again. A limited edition program commemorating the event will be given to the first 200 people in attendance.
Bedlam Productions West appreciates your continued support for The Deadites and wants to thank all past, present and dismissed members and crew for keeping the vision alive for the past 12 years.
See you on October 30th 2010 at The Lucky Dog Music Hall for a new beginning!

some Tuesday news hi lights: New TNA PPV stuff, an ROH exit, an brave reboot
ROH talent Skullcrusher Rasche Brown tweeted the following this evening:
"Just quit ROH.... good luck in your future endeavors. Remember, always remain in control! Keep it real 24 7"
"Sources indicate that Brown was taken off all scheduled ROH events after he missed the HDNet tapings this past weekend. It is believed that Brown offered to work the shows in Charlotte and Richmond this weekend to make up for missing the tapings, but when he got pulled anyway he decided to quit".(credit 411mania)
(This is 2 bad the big man was a great edittion to the roster and will be missed. I am sure with the up coming "booking" changes this will not be the first roster shake up.)
The following matches were announced at today's TNA Impact tapings for TNA's No Surrender PPV on September 5:
Douglas Williams versus Sabu for the TNA X Division Title (Interesting)
A.J. Styles versus Tommy Dreamer in an I Quit Match for the TNA Television Title (not so sure about this )
Abyss versus Rhino in a Falls Count Anywhere Match. (who cares)
Homicide's first post-TNA appearance will be at the 9/11 EVOLVE show in Rahway, New Jersey. (AWSOME !)
Warner Bros. has acquired the rights to a forthcoming trilogy of books by David Goyer (writer and or producer of the BLADE films, the new SUPERMAN movie, with a "story by" on BATMAN BEGINS and THE DARK KNIGHT ) and Michael Cassutt (a producer on OUTER LIMITS and BEVERLY HILLS 90210 in the 90s, and a scripter on SG-1, FARSCAPE, THE DEAD ZONE TV series).
Goyer will produce and script an adaptation of the first book in the cycle - HEAVEN'S SHADOW. (I love DG, and will give any thing he is involved with at all a look)
fans of the Batman The brave and the bold and it's companion comics will be happy to know the comic has not been canceled,but ill be getting a reboot
The All-New Batman: The Brave and the Bold. Will Feature the new creative team of artist Rick Burchett (no stranger to drawing comics based on Batman cartoons) and writer Sholly Fisch.
