A Deadite B-day Dragon gate USA MetaMart returns home and Spiderman versus Ash versus the Tinman
Lots of cool Stuff today.
first up my good buddy and one of my favorite artists D-Rock Ring just finished an amazing project. I'm not sure if I can show any of it or even mention it by name, but as soon as I get the okay I'll serve some up for you you'll be blown away.
if you're not familiar with Derek's work take a look he's amazing
second off the Federation that is in a dead heat tie for the title of “Mr. Mars loves our wrestling Federation the most” Dragon gate USA is making its New England debut on October 29 in Fall River Massachusetts.
DG USA is everything that's great about Lucha Libre and Japanese pro wrestling rolled into one hard-hitting highflying extravaganza. a
I would highly recommend taking in the show even if you only have a passing interest in pro wrestling.
Run by former ring of honor mastermind Gabe Sapolsky, this incredible wrestling hybrid is one third of a trio of feds that as far as I'm concerned is Where the state of the art in international wrestling is going down.

CHIKARA ( an ultrafast super exciting intelligently written family-friendly comic book of a wrestling show)
evolve ( Pro wrestling presented as a sport and an art form)
Dragon gate USA ( CHIKARA + evolve = Dragon gate USA)
my explanations for all three companies are certainly over simplifications But It gets my point across.
At any rate if you live within driving distance to where any of these companies are running shows make the trip you won't be disappointed.
my good friends at the MetaMart had just returned from a super successful trip of Europe.
I'm truly constantly at a loss in regards to how awesome my friends are. congratulations MM !
a few weeks ago there was a rumor going around that Tim Burton was destined to ruin another of my favorite franchises when he got his hands on the Wizard of Oz, luckily for all of us it was officially announced today that Disney has tapped filmmaking God Sam (evil dead, Spiderman) Raimi to direct a prequel focusing on the Wizard and how he went from Carnival huckster to the all-knowing all showing monarch of Emerald City.
in an attached bit of news Raimi and Mickey Mouse are working hard to lore Robert Downey Jr ( has he been in anything lately? ) to the titular role (he'd be the Wizard not the land of OZ)
and last but certainly not least 34 years ago today one of my best buddies of all time was born.
he's one third of the original deadites one half of the superstar sex kittens and one fourth of our four Horsemen he's Been a driving force on some of the coolest computer games to come out in years and is currently knee-deep in two more.
